Kleen-Tex meets the highest standards of environmental management.
Kleen-Tex now holds ISO 14001:2015 environmental standard certification for the production of rubber / rubber coated fabrics for industrial and individual customers.
ISO 14001: 2015 is the international standard that defines the requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS).
The implementation of this environmental management system ensures that Kleen-Tex takes its responsibility towards people and nature seriously by effectively incorporating these standards as an integral part of the company's practices.

All Kleen-Tex products that comply with classification according to EN13501-1 are marked with this symbol. This EU classification describes the behavior of the mattress in fire according to ISO 9239-1 and means low flammability and smoke development.
All Kleen-Tex products marked with this symbol have been tested to DOC-FF-1-70.
All Kleen-Tex products that comply with classification according to EN 14041 are marked with this symbol. These have been tested and certified by ÖTI (Institute for Ecology, Technology and Innovation). The institute tested the electrostatic behavior and electrical resistance of these carpets and concluded that they were antistatic.
Our rubber products have been tested and certified by the NFSI (National Floor Safety Institute). The institute tests floor coverings for slip resistance in a defined test procedure to ensure safe use in commercial applications.
This is a standard test method for special applications – Electrical resistance of floor coverings and floors. Kleen-Ergo ESD is electrically conductive according to EN 61340-4-1.
All raw materials used to manufacture Kleen-Ergo products are REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant.
All Kleen-Ergo products have been awarded the “Aktion Gesunder Rücken” (AGR) seal of approval, as ergonomic workplace mattresses are a back-friendly product. Due to their elasticity, Kleen-Ergo mattresses allow the passive dynamics of the leg muscles, especially the calves. Unhealthy stress reactions due to permanent strain on the musculoskeletal system and the first signs of fatigue are reduced.
Our modular Kleen-Wave mat is classified according to DIN 51097: A + B + C. This is a test method to determine the anti-slip properties of floor coverings for wet areas without shoes. The Kleen-Wave mattress has been found to have anti-slip properties and is therefore suitable for use in wet areas without shoes. They prevent slip, slip and fall accidents in wet areas due to their traction properties.
Kleen-Wave is also certified according to DIN EN 13451 / 15288-1: 30 °. Here the slip resistance of floors and inclined surfaces is tested, as well as the slip resistance of pool equipment surfaces. Kleen-Wave mats have been found to be used in pool, shower, spa, sauna or changing room environments, for example, and significantly reduce the risk of slipping.
The Kleen-Thru Plus mats has been awarded the “Antimicrobial Protection” certificate. The layer provides protection against micro-organisms and prevents the development of odours, dirt and decay caused by bacterial attack.
